Built a nice shelf for knick knacks in office, couldn't find anything premade that I liked.
Tiled the hallway to office and pantry... Nice earthen tile color with chocolate grout... Lines aren't perfect, but just fine for the hallway in the basement.
Some furniture was delivered. Unfortunately the place I ordered the furniture from was out of the living room set I wanted and not only that, it was discontinued. I still haven't found a set I like as much as of June 2008... As such I have the venerable LoveSac in the living room for my furniture but that is ok for the time being as I would prefer to wait to find what I really want to just settling for something that will bother me.
This curio cabinet is really nice but for some odd reason, this perfect placement position was initially bad because no one put an electrical outlet there. It just seemed odd to me since it was such a perfect place for a little curio or table or grandfather clock or something... I fixed that and now there is an outlet there.
As you can see, Trouble enjoys the furniture, she especially enjoys "her" bed. She even lets me sleep on my side which is nice. If I go onto her side I will get a paw to the face and maybe some claws and whap to the face with her tail.
Miscellaneous outside photos after snow storms in December...
As you can see from the next pics my road was buried pretty good in snow... Believe it or not, it was completely cleared by 6AM the next day (I think the snow fell on Sunday afternoon). They use a giant grader to plow the roads for us and it is the best plowing I have had on any road I have lived on... ever. From edge of road to edge of road. Shocked me to death.
These are pics from an ice storm, the pictures don't capture it but everything was quite pretty and made odd scraping and cracking sounds. It reminded me of the glass forest in the sci-fi TV show Threshold.
There's the pond!!! Heh where?
